Rekoop brand made with CertainT

At the New York Market – GHCL this week launches Rekoop sustainable bedding made with CertainT-verified, molecular-tagged, recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET).

The Rekoop brand consists of bed sheets, pillowcases and pillow shams. GHCL developed the collection in collaboration with Applied DNA Sciences, the developer of technologies that prevent the counterfeiting of materials, and Reliance Industries, an India-based supplier of polyester fiber and yarn. Applied DNA’s CertainT platform forensically provides the traceability of the PET fibers used in the bedding, while Reliance’s eco-friendly Recron Green Gold fiber is used in the manufacturing of the bedding, according to a GHCL statement.
