This demonstration tool shows deployment of SigNature® molecular tags and other integrity testing measures on packaging, and how they can be used to verify origin, authenticity, provenance, and claims.
Quick-screening tools (optical and digital) offer a fast, economical means of in-field verification.
SigNature® Molecular Tag
The unique molecular tag can be recovered from any gloss finish surface (the molecular pattern) on the box using a water-moistened swab.
Analysis can be conducted on-site by trained personnel or contracted inspection firm.
Samples may also be sent to Applied DNA for forensic in-lab analysis.
A hidden serial number is included on the bottom of the package - it can be revealed using a UV light. Covertly-presented variable content is useful for item tracking.
In retail settings, it can be used to display product authenticity to the consumer, and can be integrated with loyalty rewards/gift-with-purchase programs.
A red screening fluorophore can be unlocked on any gloss-finish surface (molecular pattern). Overt and covert procedures are available.
