Applied DNA is pleased to be a member of NCTO, an dedicated to helping textile manufacturing and promoting products made in the United States. 

The National Council for Textile Organizations (NCTO) is a Washington, DC-based association representing the entire spectrum of the domestic textile sector. From fibers to finished products, from machinery manufacturers to power suppliers, NCTO is the voice of the U.S. textile industry.

NCTO’s mission is focused on creating powerful national and international alliances to advance the interests of the U.S. textile sector. As an organization, it is unrivaled in its composition which allows each segment of the industry to have a vote in determining NCTO policy.

  • U.S. employment in the textile supply chain was 538,067 in 2022.
  • The value of shipments for U.S. textiles and apparel was $65.8 billion in 2022.
  • U.S. exports of fiber, textiles and apparel were $34 billion in 2022.
  • Capital expenditures for textiles and apparel production totaled $2.27 billion in 2021, the last year for which data is available.
